The foundations of AKY logistics date back to 1930s when Abdullah AKYILMAZ bought his first vehicle to carry out transportation activities in the 1930s. In the ancestral profession, which was carried out in the difficult conditions of the period, the flag was transferred to the second generation Mehmet AKYILMAZ in 1957. Mehmet AKYILMAZ, who transports from Turkey to Middle East countries such as Iraq, Iran and Kuwait, continues on his way with the third generation Çetin AKYILMAZ, who was raised in the profession just like his father, in the 1980s. Transportation activities which were carried out in cooperation with various companies until 1994 continued after it became officially institutionalized under the name of AKYILMAZ INTERNATIONAL LOGISTICS LTD. STI in line with Çetin AKYILMAZ's initiatives. In addition to being the first company in Gaziantep to carry out transportation activities on the Euro-Balkans line, it has made a name for itself and gained respectability as the most important player in the sector with its unique and unrivaled activities. The partnership structure of the company has changed in 2017 and taking the name AKY LOJISTiK Import export Industry and Trade Limited Company; it continues its activities today, with the fourth generation Burkay AKYILMAZ taking over the flag. In 2018, in order to establish efficiency and develop cooperation in the Caucasus countries, a company called AKY LOGISTICS LTD WERE FOUNDED and vehicle investments were made.
